Refund & Returns Policy


Goods must be returned within fourteen days of receipt, unused, in perfect condition and in original packaging. Carriage of replacement items may be at buyers cost. Due to strict hygiene regulations the Seller cannot accept return of scissors, clippers, razors and any other items that have been used or other items returned in an unacceptable condition, except if the goods are faulty. Goods returned which have been damaged due to poor packaging by the Buyer will not be credited in full. We recommend that items are returned via a trackable service and proof of postage must be provided. Any refund on unwanted goods that are not faulty will incur a 10% restocking charge. Your Statutory Rights are not affected. Please note all Balmain goods and furniture orders are custom made to your requirements and therefore cannot be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.

When you make a refund, the Payment Service does various checks to ensure that the financial institution accepts refund instructions and that the amount to be refunded is still available for that payment. If it is, the refund request is scheduled and sent to the appropriate financial institution. You will usually receive the refund amount you requested within 5 working days, however, you should note that a refund may take as much as 3-6 weeks to be processed depending on the acquirer.

Faulty, incorrect or undelivered goods

We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect or damaged goods are received (or where goods you expected to arrive haven't) please inform us by email within 48 hours of delivery to info@salonessentials.co.uk  We’ll arrange a collection of the goods (at our cost) and send out replacements as soon as possible. If it is more convenient for you to send the goods back to us, let us know and send to the address below (refunds cannot be processed in-store) using recorded delivery and we’ll reimburse you the cost of this.

Shortages & Damages:

Goods must be inspected on receipt (without opening) and all claims for shortages or damages must be made by the Buyer to the Seller within 14 days of receipt of the goods and confirmed via e-mail.
